Curriculum development
I developed my writing and the ability to successfully teach writing to others through completing a Bachelors in Linguistics and Language Practice (cum laude) and Honours in English (73%). These skills were enhanced during four years of enrollment in a Masters in English course and as an Academic writing consultant. As a writer, I receive praise for my ability to identify, maintain, and teach how to create a clear and strong argument across both short and long pieces of writing.
I developed peer and group facilitation skills through numerous committee member, tutor and learning facilitator roles. These include university residences and committees, as well as modules in Linguistics, Language Practice, and English literature and skills. I enhanced my facilitation skills through presenting subject-specific training, consultations, and classes to undergraduate and postgraduate students and consultants.
I developed the ability to identify learning outcomes, create appropriate learning objectives, and develop corresponding curricula, through participating in a university curriculum renewal program, and coordinating a university module for final-year and postgraduate students. As a freelancer, I created curricula for courses on academic writing, employability enhancment, and e-portfolio development, specifically for South African high school students.

Project coordination
I developed courses on academic writing, enhancing employability, and e-portfolio development. During my tenure as an academic writing consultant I designed a course for academic writing consultants assisting third-year English students with essay writing. As a freelance, I designed a course that teaches high school students how to succeed at academic writing, focusing on producing various genres of texts, answering test and exam questions, and exploring writing opportunities available outside of school. As an instructional design enthusiast, I have completed a learning design capacity program and have been exposed to the design steps for creating and implementing workshops in a writing centre.
I developed analytical skills through monitoring, identifying problems, and implementing effective solutions in the student and staff communities I have worked with. These include improvements in administrative processes as an administrative officer at a writing centre and project coordinator for a newly implemented university module. In these roles, I led projects to develop a new booking system and update existing course material to accommodate engagement and asynchronous learning needs. As a learning facilitator, I identified a specific need to develop writing skills in third-year English students and collaborated with a writing centre to identify areas for concern, and present a subject-specific writing intervention to these students. In this process, I identified a need for writing consultants to be prepared to assist these students, and designed a capacity building course.
I developed project coordination and management skills through running the day-to-day operations of a writing centre, directing almost 40 consultants and servicing close to 70 students daily through face-to-face and online consultations. As a co-advisor for the university chapter of the Golden Key international Honour society I managed the recruitment process for incoming presidents and advised on how to maximise operational and strategic endeavours within the university. As an e-portfolio development coordinator I was responsible for managing a newly implemented university module that teaches students to enhance their employability through digital resources. I lead a team of almost 30 employees through regular performance conversations and serviced close to 900 students through classes, assessments, consultations, webinars, and practicals. In these roles, I provided regular updates on the progress and processes of the projects and consistently engaged in administrative, strategic, and collaborative conversations to align with the objectives of the institution.
Testimonials
"Mr. Alexandro Daniels has been an invaluable asset in constructing and refining my essays. His keen eye for detail and expertise in language has transformed my writing from average to exceptional. Mr. Daniëls not only provided constructive feedback but also offered insightful suggestions to enhance clarity in my essay. I highly recommend his services to anyone facing language challenges; he is a true master at helping you unlock your full writing potential"
Grade 11 high school learner
"The consultations have been so effective, I think it appropriate to separate my academic journey into two parts; BD and AD (Before Daniëls and After Daniëls). Before I got the opportunity to work with Mr. Daniëls, my writing abilities were fairly good. However, since receiving additional and consistent guidance and advice from him, my writing has become excellent."
Third-year English student
"The Asynchronous Content allowed me to engage my course work in a new way. The reading material provided was very clear and easy to grasp.
The user friendliness of the Asynchronous Content is also something I appreciated.
1) Content was easy to find.
2) Allowing me to read through the material myself and develop my own understanding
3) With the help of recorded classes and Mr. Alexandro Daniëls, I was able to clear any doubts amd answer any questions I had regarding the course work."

"I was looking for a way to make an impression while jobhunting and realised I needed a website that embodied who I am as a teacher. Upon a quick chat with Mr. Daniëls I was able to express my vision for my website. He then created my website which superseded my expectations. It was such a well put together website that it gained a high traffic rate, and was also mentioned during one of my interviews! I’d highly recommend his services to anyone in need of a creative designer."
